Your practical guide to traveling Korea

About Us

Korea360 is an independent, English-language travel guide for international visitors to South Korea. We focus on the practical questions that come up before and during a trip: how to get around, what to eat and how to order it, where to shop, which neighborhoods and day trips are worth your time, and what has changed recently.

What you will find here

  • Plan Your Trip — visas and entry, money and payments, SIM cards and apps, seasons and weather.
  • Seoul and Beyond Seoul — neighborhoods, palaces, Busan, Jeju, Gyeongju, and easy day trips.
  • Food, Culture & K-Pop, and Shopping — dishes, etiquette, K-beauty, markets, and tax refunds.
  • Korea Now — new rules, events, and travel news that affect visitors.

How our guides are made

Each guide is researched from official and primary sources wherever possible — for example the Korea Tourism Organization, city and government websites, and transport operators — and is drafted with the help of AI writing tools, then checked against those sources before publishing. Guides list the sources we checked, and older guides are reviewed and updated over time; a guide shows an "Updated" date when its content has been substantially revised.

Prices, opening hours, and rules in Korea change often. Please confirm important details with the official source before you go. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

Independence and advertising

Korea360 is not affiliated with any government agency or tour company. The site may display advertising, which helps cover the cost of running it; advertisers do not influence what we write. See our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer for details.
